Iím sorry to say I can make no guarantees toward publication. The whole industry is so subjective. A polished manuscript is only one facet toward any bookís success. The good thing is that these days there are more options than ever before, which Iíll happily discuss with you for free. for my telephone number.
I highly recommend attending workshops and conferences. Personal contacts increase your chances over slush-pile percentages. Meet publishers, editors and agents. Find out whatís going on the industry. Attend workshops: learn, learn, learn. You can never learn enough. Join a writers group. If there isnít one in your area, start one. for my telephone number and Iíll tell you how.
Frequently, when authors contact me, their first question is how much I charge. I understand finances are important in this economy, but I urge authors—please don't choose your editor by their prices. Ask for a sample edit. See if what they say clicks with what you feel your story needs. See if you feel a rapport with what is said in both the edits and the side comments regarding structure and story/character development.
I am always willing to work with authors on a payment plan. I take Paypal, check, money order, and all credit cards. Any questions or concerns, for my telephone number.
